That Lucky #7 Again…..

We aren’t superstitious people…although I guess we don’t really risk it either. For instance when Alabama played the biggest game of the year (the National Championship), we sat in the same chairs we sat in during the SEC Championship. Did that help the Tide pull off a victory? Absolutely not….but it wasn’t worth the risk either. So do we believe the #7 will bring us luck? Not really, but it sure is a comforting number for us.

When we were picking our wedding date Paul said “let’s get married on 07.07.07, because it is God’s perfect number” and that was it. No other discussion needed. Ever since then we seem to perk up or take notice when we hear the number 7.

So can you guess how many follicles we saw on our ultrasound yesterday? 4 on the right and 3 on the left…..don’t get the calculators out…4+3= 7!!!! YAY! That is 3 more than the doctor said we would have to have to continue forward. WOOHOO! And my estrogen count was 516. It needs to get to 750, but the nurse said she had “no doubt that we would reach that” so it looks like we are on!!

We will go back to Birmingham on Sunday to check the progress of the little Easter Eggs. They still need to grow a little more before they can be retrieved. So please pray that they continue to grow into healthy perfect little eggs.

The retrieval will be sometime next week, possibly Tuesday or Wednesday?? Just depends on their progress. We will keep you updated as we hear.
